He sponsored NRB founder Lutfur Rahman's studies in the UK, emphasizing the value of education. As a father of three, he has passed on these values, with his eldest daughter Farhana and her husband now sponsoring a maternity department. Mohammad Akik Miah
Md. Lutfur Rahman
Md. Lutfur Rahman, son of Rafiqur Rahman and grandson of Ustar Miah, has built a legacy of compassion and service. A British-Bangladeshi legal expert, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, he was called to the bar at the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2000. He began his legal practice in East London in 2002 and co-founded Universal Legal Centre, which was recognized with the best representative award from the Home Office for the Sector Based Scheme project introduced in 2003. After a tragic incident where his mother, Kamrun Nessa, suffered a fatal heart attack due to inadequate medical resources in their village, he vowed to prevent such occurrences from happening again. This personal loss inspired him to establish the NRB Hospital in her memory, aiming to provide accessible healthcare services to underserved areas. His life exemplifies leadership, generosity, and community care.
Sadek Miah
Sadek Miah, son of Goyas Miah—a prominent figure who arrived in the UK around 1960—has built a legacy of compassion and service. As an accomplished entrepreneur, he operates several successful catering and food businesses across the UK.
